How did you come to the lord?
When I was young, my father developed cirrhosis of the liver — a scarring and incurable disease that results in permanent damage and other complications. Desperate, I prayed to the Lord for a miracle for my father’s sake. This was the moment that the Lord entered and saved my life, answered my prayer, and healed my father.
At what moment did you realize you were called to start a ministry?
Upon receiving my salvation at the age of 15, back in 1975, I knew and felt an undeniable call in my heart to serve as a pastor.
What is one of your most impactful testimonies?
My most impactful testimony is my father’s healing from cirrhosis of the liver. Medical doctors claimed that my father should not have survived, as his liver was irreversibly deteriorated and entirely absent. By God, he was healed and lived. This miracle opened my eyes to the Lord’s love, mercy, and power — through it, I was saved.
In your own words, how would you describe Iglesia Maranatha?
Iglesia Maranatha is a family oriented and Bible-centered church. We believe in unity and make every effort to prepare the next generation to be able to carry and share the torch of the Gospel. We enjoy fellowship and spend quality time together as a church family.
